Commercial Real Estate: Rare office project breaks ground on Broadway corridorFebruary 23, 2016 7:44 pm
Vancouver’s West Broadway corridor, one of the most difficult areas in the region in which to lease office space, is set to see its first large office project in at least five years.
On Feb. 4, developers broke ground on a 10-storey, 104,000-square-foot office tower at 988 West Broadway, near Oak Street.
The building is a joint ownership venture between the Bosa family’s BlueSky Properties and Quebec-based insurance firm Industrial Alliance, with 80 per cent of the building anchored and occupied by Industrial Alliance’s regional offices.
