A new Capri Centre master plan submitted to the city of Kelowna shows off the developer’s vision for a massive, mixed-use community just of Harvey Avenue.
RG Properties owns the lot currently housing the Coast Capri Hotel. Over the next 30 years, it will transform the property into a residential and commercial urban centre, featuring close to a dozen high-rise towers, several shops, some amenities, a hotel and an ice rink.
The plan is so massive the city has given the property, bordered by Gordon Drive, Spall Road, Harvey and Springfield Avenues, it’s own special zoning.
