The City of Kelowna is selling property on Lakeshore Road to fund improvements to Boyce-Gyro Park.
In a press release, the city says it has put a portion of the gravel parking lot at 3326 Lakeshore Rd. on the market. It will be subdivided and rezoned to park and mixed-use, with a vision for residential and commercial mixed-use development.
The property was purchased by the city in 2006 for $2.95 million. The 1.2-acre site now for sale is listed for sale at $4.9 million.
